First Azerbaijani – German – Turkish Medical Congress (2015)

With organizational support of AZERBAIJAN NATIONAL ONCOLOGY CENTER AND GERMANY AZERBAIJAN MEDICAL COOPERATION ASSOCIATION is hosting the first Azerbaijani-German-Turkish medical congress in Baku on April 10-13, 2015. 10 professors from German University Hospitals and 6 professors from Turkish University Clinics will attend the congress as a referent. Opening of the congress will take place on April 11 at 9:00 am in Monolit Plaza Hotel. Registration of the participants will begin at 8:00 am.
Congress will be held in two places – National Center of Oncology and Monolit Plaza Hotel. 3-day trainings that have international certificate on endosonography will be held in National Center of Oncology, as well as the congress. At the same time, other parts of the Congress will be held in 3 halls of Monolit Plaza Hotel on April 11, 12, 13. 4-hours workshops on Laparoscopic Surgery, Endoscopy, General Surgery and Radiology, (2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the afternoon) having 21 CME credits are planned to be held in 4 halls of Monolit Plaza Hotel every day. For the first time in the post-Soviet space, these Workshops were given CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits, and the certificates have gained international status.

On April 13, the 1st Congress of newly established Society of Minimal Invasive and Endoscopic Surgeons Association of Azerbaijan will be held, as well as this Congress. In the framework of the Congress a forum consisting of the reports of students, residents and young doctors dedicated to actual issues of Surgery, Oncology and Gastroenterology will be organized. 1st place winner will be sent to one of German University clinics for 1-month summer practice. 2nd place winner will be able to attend the Congress of Turkish Coloprotocologists Society in May 2015 in Istanbul, 3rd place winner will be rewarded with a special prize.
